## 1. SYSTEM THESIS

A unified design language for **HALO** and **Coregular**. Same hand, opposite missions.

> Hold everything constant — paper, ink, typography, grid, mark size — and vary **one** thing: the ring is open, or the ring is closed.

## 8. HOW TO EDIT / SEND ASSETS

When Aron asks for an asset:

1. **Identify** the asset from the file map above
2. **Use the on-light variant by default** unless Aron specifies dark or context implies it (website backgrounds, social headers)
3. **Default format** is PNG for inline iMessage previews, SVG for any vector use case (logo on website, print, etc.)
4. **For lockup vs mark**: lockup is default (mark + wordmark). Mark alone is for favicons, avatars, app icons.
5. **For favicons**: use the appropriate size (16 for tab, 32-256 for OS, 512 for app icons)
6. **Send via native iMessage attachment** to agentforhalo@gmail.com — never the relay, never the phone number
7. **Follow-up text**: filename + real bytes (os.path.getsize) + send time + which variant (on-light vs on-dark, lockup vs mark)

When Aron asks to edit:

1. **Read the source SVG** from `Brand-System/refinements-2026-05-10/`
2. **Make the edit** (color swap, size change, text change)
3. **Save the edited version** to the appropriate `current/` folder (overwrite is fine — history/ folder has prior versions)
4. **Re-export PNG** if needed: use Inkscape or rsvg-convert or similar to maintain consistent rendering
5. **Confirm to Aron** with: what changed, where it lives, opens cleanly in Preview

## 9. DESIGN RULES (locked — don't violate)

- Never change the paper color `#F4EFE4` or ink color `#1F1B16` — these are the system identity
- Never change the typography (Cormorant Garamond display, Inter caption)
- Never change the stroke weight 1.8px (except favicon scale 6px)
- The HALO ring gap is at the 1 o'clock position, 52° wide — preserve this
- The center dot stays at 45% opacity in both brands
- On-dark: only stroke and dot fill change to cream `#F4EFE4`; structure identical
- Wordmark is always lowercase, always letter-spacing -2

If a request would violate any of these rules, ask Aron to confirm before proceeding.
